This video shows the only ever live recording of what some would say are Britain's top all time comedy double act, featuring all their famous routines as they perform for over an hour at Fairfields Halls in Croydon in the mid-70s. Morecambe and Wise delighted millions with their unique brand of humour, they reigned supreme in the 60s, 70s and 80s as comedy kings and their success and popularity has never since been equalled. The filming of this concert was a present from their long time manager as a way of showing thanks and admiration for all their hard work over the years. For over a decade, an ex-market stall trader from Liverpool called Eddie Braben wrote the scripts that made the nation take Morecambe and Wise to their hearts. But for Braben, it wasn't all sunshine. Beginning in 1969 with the birth of the 'golden triangle' of Eric, Ernie and Eddie, this film chronicles the grind that pushed the perfectionist Braben to the brink of exhaustion, culminating in the triumphant Christmas Day show of 1977.

Both Eric and Ernie were avid home movie makers, chronicling their rise to fame and recording key moments in their private and family lives, at home and abroad. Now for the first time, with access to Morecambe & Wise's entire home movie collection, this documentary shows Eric and Ernie at work and at play, on tour and on holiday, from summer season in Blackpool to trying to make it in the USA, from their pre-television fame days to the height of their career.

The plot centers on Ernie, a 45-year-old loner with a mysterious past who escapes his small-town hardships after being lured by the charms of a fearless group of young influencers on their way to Los Angeles. After finding a place he can finally fit in, he dives deep into a digital world of hedonism, self-exploration, and first love, only to realize that his late coming of age is never what nature or society intended.

Underground Ernie is a Computer-animated children's television series produced by Joella Productions in the UK and shown by the BBC on both CBeebies and BBC Two. It is set in International Station, a fictional worldwide underground network, and focuses on the everyday adventures of Ernie, a friendly Underground supervisor, Millie, his multilingual colleague and Mr Rails the lovable maintenance man. The locomotives under Ernie's watchful eye all have characters of their own. There is Bakerloo, Victoria, Circle, Jubilee and the twins, Hammersmith & City. From time to time they are joined by their friends from across the world including; Paris, Brooklyn, Moscow, Sydney and Osaka.The show is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 8 years old. The initial series has 26 episodes each lasting 12 mins. Its first showing on was on Monday 5 June 2006 on CBeebies.The Producers of the show 'Joella Productions' are currently trying to raise money to get another series of 'Underground Ernie' created. The Production costs for a series is £4 million.
